There are people who dress to impress all the time. However sometimes this will not be necessary and you might end up making yourself look like a clown. For instance it’s not necessary to dress to impress when going to a tech interview in silicon valley. You don’t need that expensive formal suit. A simple plain t-shirt and jeans can do the trick.
